[Updated 7/13] Latest information on special entry permit (VISA) for "commercial" purposes

Regarding commercial and working visas, there was contact from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on July 9th.

"If the reason for visiting Taiwan is related to national construction and serious economic activities approved by the Taiwanese government, those who have been granted special entry to the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Central Epidemic Command Center) through the central government office of Taiwan You can apply for a special entry permit (VISA) and travel even during the entry restriction period of alert level 3. "

Not all travel for "commercial" purposes seems to be able to apply for a "special permit". Whether your reason for visiting Taiwan is related to a special project such as a "national construction important project" approved by the Taiwanese government, whether you can apply for a "special permit", necessary materials for the "special permit", application method, etc. We cannot answer about this. Please contact the relevant local government agencies such as the Ministry of Economic Affairs through the local hosts.

Due to the new coronavirus, we are only accepting regular international students from universities and graduate schools who have already been granted entry permission from the Ministry of Education in Taiwan. After inquiring about whether or not the permit list is registered with the school, you will need the official text number and date of the Ministry of Education. (We cannot accept without the official text number)

7. Bank or post office balance certificate (500,000 yen or more) 1 original
◎ Those with a seal or signature of the issuing institution and within 3 months from the issue date.
Please separately submit a copy of the family register / resident's card that shows the parent-child relationship when you submit proof of balance in the name of the parent.
