Umeda Sky Building [ OSAKA ]

Umeda Sky Building consists of a pair of skyscrapers connected at the top. This uniquely shaped building was designed by Japanese architect Hiroshi Hara, who also designed Kyoto Station. It has an open-air observation deck, called the “Floating Garden” located on the top at a height of 173m (568ft). Umeda Sky Building is a landmark of Osaka’s Kita Ward. In 2008 the British newspaper “The Times” described it as one of the 20 best buildings in the world.
